Natalie Conneely
Biography
Natalie Conneely is an Actress, Producer, Impact Producer and Director born in the lowland jungles of Bolivia, the heart of South America. She is known for her Amazonian strength and approachable quality while also bringing vulnerability and compassion to her roles. Natalie started her acting career in Bolivia at the age of 5. She earned her BA in Film, Television and Theater & Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. Natalie is 100% fluent in English & Spanish.
Natalie started producing commercial short films in 2009 and has since produced feature and documentary films for social impact. Her most recent documentary, shot in 2019, focuses on indigenous wisdom for environmental conservation after the devastating Amazon fires.
Natalie is the Bolivian Impact Producer for the National Geographic film Tigre Gente and is the lead on strategy and execution for the workshops and screenings across amazonian indigenous communities.
Natalie lives in Los Angeles, CA where she is director of development for the award winning production company Optimist. She founded Pachamama Sabia, a social impact production collaboration, and advises nonprofits that work to promote social justice through the arts. She volunteers for Eyeshine, a nonprofit that promotes activities for visually impaired and disabled youth and adults.
She is in love with the collaborative essence of filmmaking and the healing power of stories and is humbled by our call as artists to make a difference to change the world for the better.
